Teaching Cubs
Short trips are made to and from the den for several days as the cubs get used to the outside temperatures. Then the family leaves and makes its way to the sea ice where the mother teaches, hunts for and protects her cubs. After two years together, the family disperses and the cycle begins again...

Tracking Polar Bears
Since 1975, WWF has supported the research on polar bears and other Arctic species. Through our partners, we are able to track radio-collared polar bears visually communicate polar bear behavior and movements. Your donations allow WWF to continue this important support of basic scientific research.
